So despite running everything in the low race settings; I know from the data analyser that my traction control does come into play on most tracks and I've always wondered how much of a difference it makes. Plus on the Panigale ( and S1000RR ) you get all the usual clueless comments about 'relying' on electronics even though you'd need to be a right hero to push against the TC coming out of a corner in my opinion. Turns out the bike does just fine without any of it on track. I damaged my front speed sensor earlier in the week as the wire came unclipped and rubbed through on the wheel and it turned off everything, Traction Control, ABS, Engine Breaking as the bike doesn't know when there's a speed differential between the wheels. Just to add to the work my quick shifter was also not working, I tried to sort it out but I think it need removing and cleaning as the rose joints get bunged up with crud sometimes.

A bunch more interesting vids with plenty of other bikes to come but here's a lap or two from Oulton Park with OMCC yesterday. Currently my favourite track and I was feeling some serious love for the Panigale. I put the stock baffles in and got through the static testing on a 'check the driveby' basis because it was a Panigale. The fun police were out big time on wheelies so I was letting off a lot to keep the front down but it turned out this got me through the two days as once I tried for some fast laps in the last session the extra revs must have tripped the noise meters and I got black flagged.

Thanks for sharing, nice vid showing the pani as an analog bike...especially chopping the throttle on the upshifts. ;)

Oulton Park has a nice mix of flowing corners. How drastic are the small hills/elevations?

The gradients are pretty full on. It's a real shame the wide angle lens does not show how steep the gradients are or how tight the corners are. It also makes the track look a lot wider than it is. Once I get a chance to go through the footage I'll get some stuff up with other bikes as that shows the track a bit better.

Another nice vid and oulton park really is a nice track but alot of blind and off camber turns i bet it takes a bit of time to get used to it.

Where have you mounted your camera as the angle is good.

Also how come you are riding in that group you are going at twice the speed as everyone else.

What's the deal with your throttle assembly?

Why is it rotated like a quarter turn towards the rider?

Very exciting video, thanks for posting! Can you upload a photo of your camera setup on the bike? I think the framing is excellent.

One more from the tail!

Just doing some garage work so I'll try and get some shots of the camera mounting for you. it's nothing special, just sticky pads on the nose and tail, and the suction mount on the tank. I tie them off with some string.

The bike is in need of some love; I think I may have snapped a bit of plastic and the buttons on the throttle are spinning around.

The group is the fast group, I was going pretty quick but I think the wide camera angle makes it look like I'm passing quicker than I was. I guess the average speed was standard non racer sort of level for fast group. A bunch of the instructors in the yellow bibs were racers and some of those were fast but Panigale powers do well :)

I didn't have the go pro with me to get it mounted but for what it's worth here are the mounting points
