came back from serving overseas and saving up for 2 years to pay for mine cash when I went to get it. Every combat flight I was on was waaaaay worth it to come back and buy this baby

I was into "Cigarette" boats a few years back. One day I was backing a new one into the water when someone walked up to me and asked how much it costs. I looked at him with a blank stare for about ten seconds then said "I really don't know, my accountant cut the check for it". That's my way of handling people asking me questions having to do with my finances. Just to be clear, I don't have an accountant.

Brilliant...I get asked that question about the Panigale all the time. Will definitely use this from now on.

frf lets you pay your [bike] loan with a credit. since i hadn't had a retail loan in like forever, this time i decided to "cash in" on all those lucrative credit card offers (cashback, miles, bonuses, etc) available last year. it's been a lot of work but i think i made out pretty good. may or may not do it next time, depends. interest rates are low and there are some other uses for cash besides buying a motorcycle (i.e. i bought apple stock), everyone's personal finances are different, don't sweat it.

Great answer

I use something similar when asked "how fast does it go?"....I usually respond; I don't know, I don't look down at the speedo after I hit 160...

Wow, definitely in the minority with financing, but I did get the low APR Ducati was offering at the end of 2012, and not having a mortgage but still going through school it just helps build my credit. Either way it always brings a smile to my face whenever I walk outside and see a Ducati in the driveway, and this was the first new vehicle purchase ever, not a bad way to start out.
