Has anyone fitted the smog block off plates, but not fitted the eliminator plug? Did the bike run OK, or go into a sort of limp mode?

What's going on here? Just ordered some block off plates. Planning on ridding the whole air system.

I used the Smart Moto ones which came with a terminator plug for the valve. The valve was removed along with all of the tubing. The kit also came with a plug for the hole in the air box when the valve use to sit. I suppose you could plug off the hoses near where the exit the valve if you wanted to keep the valve. Some engine tuners may be able to turns off the SAI system too.
