Hi guys, I'm in the UK, looking to purchase my first Duke looking at the 1199S, have heard they get really hot under the seat. How much of a prob is that?

The heat is as addon in Wet Mode. Meant to dry/wam you up when u ride in suboptimal conditions. In Sport and Race mode the heat module is turned off.
 
Ok, is Pani as good as the reviews say, is the S model a good choice, going to my dealership this week.
 
Good choice. In GB the heat is an extra, for free. Helps getting the rain off ;)

You typically don't sit under the seat, normally on top of the seat, so NO issue! Welcome!
