My first fear was that it was a cosmetic model. After a quick search that's confirmed:
1199 Panigale Championship Edition

I think the standard"" Tricolore colour scheme is still the best of the "standard" Ducati Panigale colour schemes and that includes the SL.

Yes mate. Looks like I was right on the money - the last version of the Panigale 1199 is indeed the WSBK version.

+1 . the tri is the nicest 1199 out period.
IMO ducati should have done the following:
no base model
s model 20k (on par with the bmw in terms of pricing)
tri should have been the sl 45k price like the bayliss.
with the 1098 you actually got a different engine with the R it was worth it.
with the 1199 the engines are all the same.

You should have seen what Ducati did to us Tricolore owners. Ducati brought the "R" with a lot of extra and expensive goodies out for just a few dollars more, the very next year, making nonsense of the Tricolore's second hand value.
