Panigale Championship Edition

It Ducati Malaysia marketing campaign to clear thier old stock of 2012 panigale's .They even had 20k voucher for the few 2012 models left.
At 2012,they had offer free Borneo trip(ride around in your new multistrada)with all expensive paid including shipping your bike to Borneo. This promo was for those who purchased the new multistrada.
They find it difficult to keep up with the pricing due to grey imports.

You should have seen what Ducati did to us Tricolore owners. Ducati brought the "R" with a lot of extra and expensive goodies out for just a few dollars more, the very next year, making nonsense of the Tricolore's second hand value.

Easy there.

The R has no paint job.

The price is close, but it's show versus go.

Pay. Take choice. Be happy.

Total sell out.

Also WTF would it have Termi and not Akra at this point? Clearing out old inventory are we?

Cool paint scheme.

The 1199 hasn't won a Championship yet. Am I missing something? "Oh look at the backmarker's signature on my tank!"
I'd rather have Hayden sign my tail section or a signed RC51 if I was into that kind of stuff.

If ya'll want me to sign your bikes just let me know. "Joey Platinum, last place."

Just me or shouldn't you win a championship with it before coming out with a championship edition:confused:

What a scam... The riders aren't even champions on this bike...

I thought the same thing when I first read this thread, but it is not called the Champion edition, rather it is the Championship edition, meant to celebrate their participation in the highest level of production-based bike competition in WSBK.

However, it is simply pathetic that the the 1199 has the poorest record in Superbike racing of all Ducati Superbikes since the 851. The 916/998, 999 and 1098/1198 all won WSBK championships within their first 2 years of model introduction and most won multiple championships. The 1199 has a very high likelihood of being replaced before it ever wins a WSBK championship. For a racing-DNA brand like Ducati, this is both a black-eye and a broken nose.

This era is for Ducati like the 80's were for Ferrari F1. Dry like the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Definitely not the best time in Ducati racing history. Hopefully they will at least win a race this year on the bike. I do find it ironic though, that the Panigale and the GP14 seem to be polar opposites on the track. Pani great in the corners but lacking speed in the straights, while the GP14 is a rocket that won't turn for .....

Paint schema is much better than the tricolore in my opinion, I never liked the vertical line, the flat horizontal look looks faster :)

Pass.......looks terrible and gotta do with the Tri as the best all around Pani
