I'm glad they went to a good home to someone that would actually use them. They were just in the way collecting dust. Once you go carbon it's hard to go back. :)

I am a designer. Have been for over 20 years. Best thing you did was change those wheels. It gave your bike a much needed visual balance.
 
The gold wheels did the trick but that exhaust is on a whole different level!!!! The proportions are bang on imo and it looks so aggressive but very clean

Taking it pretty easy the first 150 miles. Should be there by tomorrow afternoon.
Then changing the oil and kicking up the revs!
Should be fun!
 
Nice, the gold wheels make all the difference.

I'll keep my eyes open for you, I typically ride Highway 1 south of Half Moon Bay and then up to Skyline and Alices for some twisties early on a Saturday morning.

Nice! That's a great route and some fun roads out there. Especially 84/La Honda Rd between Alice's and HWY 1.
 
Kevin, agreed with the rest. Gold wheels makes it look so much better. Wonder why didn't come like that from the factory. What was Ducati thinking with this hideous red wheels? Competing with Aprilia?

Oh, I still need to stop by and check out your collection!

I want pics now with the R and the desmo. Need new wallpapers, and by God you make the best ones. I've had the desmo and R on my home phone. Wife got mad told me phone screen saver should be of the kids or her.

Haha!! That's classic. Got a good laugh out of that one!

My local dealer is putting on an event later this month and both bikes will be out there on display. I was going to take the Desmo out of hibernation this weekend. If I get a chance I'll snap some pics.

My screen saver is of the wife and kids but plenty of moto shots as well just behind them :D

now all you need is link pipe, matte carbon lower and matte carbon tail (for the xmas green delete) and this bike is perfect!
 
Gorgeous. I heard it rides like a beast too!

I'd probably do something with the patchwork green paint on the belly, but it looks good enough as it is. The paint scheme grows on yah!!!
