I'm replacing my oem levers with folding ones. The panigale will be used for street and track. This may be a ridiculous questions but is there advantages from DP vs. Rizoma? Warranty, installation, replacement parts?
Rizoma levers are slightly shorter than DP and comparably priced. Your thoughts are appreciated.
I've used crg and motowheels in past and liked them both. Just wanted to try a new brand and thought Id ask fellow forum members.
Thanks.

Note: I'll be running Rizoma Handgaurds

Rizoma parts look great, but when it came to the levers I went DP after much searching.

What I found after installation is the DP levers change the feel, (to me) and seem to improve modulation of both break and clutch. The machining and finsh are excellent and look as thought the high price if worth it.

I put Rizoma reservoirs on and they look fantastic and the DP levers fit with the look and the function is superb.

Iv fitted the DP levers but find they are still too long. Does anyone know if any of the Brembo short blades will fit on the DP levers?

I'll admit that I use the cheapo chinese folding/adjustable ones off ebay, and they work great. I run them about at their shortest setting, which mostly keeps them clear of my 3rd and 4th fingers. Every once in a while I'll tinker with the lever position to see what I like best, and being able to do it on the fly rolling to the grid is nice.

I know you said you're wanting to try another brand, but since it came up that the DP ones may be too long for some, I'll post a picture of my Motowheels ones. I got them when they sold them with the remote lever adjuster, and it seems they don't offer it currently. They work great and were significantly cheaper than either Rizoma or DP. I know I ordered the "long" versions, but these are signficantly shorter than OEM:

Pazzo leavers are my fave...they make shorties, longies, and folders. Canadian made.

My Pick

Went with CRG since I like shorties and being able to change them on the fly for different feel. No better than some of the others you guys listed here.

i have chinese ones on my track bike and crg carbon ones on my 1199. guess what except for looks no difference. they stay there wait to be squeezed and stop the bike or lets you shift. all are adjustable if you want that.

i use shorties so i dont worry about extendable

Please do not stone me, but I am happy with my Austin Racing levers with adjustable brake lever span... :D

I ordered the CRG CF shorties and have only installed the brake lever because of back order issues.

Then, after reading some arguments against shorties, I began to question whether it was a good idea to have a short lever on the clutch side as well since it is so heavy compared to my Monster.

I assume that you have gotten used to it and would still go with shorty levers on both sides if you had the chance to swap either out? I had considered buying a long for the 899 clutch and keeping the brake a shorty. Then buy another shorty brake lever and installing both shorties on my Monster...

Sorry for the long post, trying to keep it short(y)

As an aside, I REALLY like the CF texture look on the lever(s).
