With only about 2 weeks to go till all the Carbon will be finished and ready to ship, I thought I would start this thread on the the complete makeover of My Panigale Tricolore.

The first company I would like to thank is Carbonvani, they have been fantastic to deal with and Simona has been been more than helpfull with dealing with my custom parts.
Anybody wishing to add Carbon to their bike, I can highly recomend this company.

I see from Gunny's poll that flat/satin finish is the more favoured option, but for me it is gloss.

Ok here are some pics curtesy of Carbonvani. The Tank took the longest, about 4 weeks from the time it was put into the mold till the testing for leaks was finished.

Wtf?

Some more pics of bits and pieces.

No .... bro? You got your Carbonvani already? I am still waiting on mine here (and you know damn well it's in the glossiest shiny mirror finish around!) Let me ask this, did you need to do any trimming or dremel work to it at all? Ive been told that it often needs some work to get a proper fit. I am getting a set of this and CDT to choose which one I want. Great info to hear you like it so much though my man! .... the poll, we know what carbon should look like dont we Roo? :D

Damn, those are some really nice bits. I will be watching your progress as I imagine it will be beautiful when complete.

Thanks guy's as Xbox said only the tip of the iceburg so plenty of pics to come

Hey Gunny dont worry mate the stuff hasnt arrived yet.....The pics are Carbonvani's way of teasing me:D
Yeah mate Glossy all the way

Pic of underneath tank and more unfinished bits still in molds.

Awesome! I have always loved the craftsmanship of making carbon pieces. The gastank looks really really nice. I can't wait to see some pictures of the bike with all of these parts

I am seriously concerned that the bike will simply float away, as Wallaroo steps back to take his first snaps

Looks great! Can't wait to see it all come together! I'm excited for you , kudos on managing to stay even remotely patient!

Lol...bit to go yet my friend, so far the only weight taken off is the battery.

Cheers Delta......Patientice is my middle name, so it has been pretty easy......2 weeks and we should see pretty much everything here, except rearsets and triple clamps.

Finally got back on this dream machine after having to take over 2 weeks off due to some beaten kidneys and a killer dose of flu just to top it off.

There is not much to say about this bike that hasnt been already said.
I dont think there is anything you can do to make this bike handle well at speed on bumpy roads, but I must say it is a huge improvement over my 996R in all departments.

I put the R&G Radiator guards on before I even took the bike out and although they can be a pita if fitting them by yourself, they make up for in Quality and snug fit.
Fortunetly I fitted them with my mechanic and it took about 20min......you guys that did it by yourselves....My hat is off to you:D

Here are some pics of the fitted guards

Another thing I fitted before riding was the race seat, and I am so glad I did that otherwise it would have been my nuts as well as my kidneys:D
Going downhill on tight twisty roads I would have slid straight into the tank on so many occasions due to crap foot pegs and a slippery seat, but lucky enough this seat saved me a bit.......must add, these brakes are sensational:D

I have also just added some levers from Tamburini Corse and these things are a work of art and some of the best levers I have ever seen and used......even came in their own crafted wooden box:D
I also recieved their LED turn signals and they also are a pieces of art......pics of them later.

Race seat and lever pics

Wallaroo - on Tamburini's site, they say they are for for Brembo radial pump - does that mean they fit the 1199 stock set up? Or is something else required? They are insane beautiful...

Nothing else required, they just fit straight on and they even come with extra decals in black, white writing or silver, red writing.
The lever adjustment is so easy to turn and as you say insane beautiful:D

Nice! Looks sweet Wallaroo! Waiting for the LED signal pics... good stuff, keep it coming!

Walla-

Are these the Euro LED tail lights you are getting? (Actually front turn signals off another Duke) but same plug and play as OEM. They have clear bulb but flash amber. Got this idea from someone in your neck of the woods I think?

Dude that Carbon is SICK! I have someone here dangling the Tri paintjob on carbon in front of me to buy over here which almost has me whipping out the plastic man!

My Carbon is all finished and will be shipped next week......here are my lower fairings for you to get more excited over and maybe tempt you to spend that peso:D
