Anyone else had issues with their clutch losing pressure, specifically/mostly when doing alot of clutchless up and down shifts? I notice it more when riding in the canyons, Ill get to the stop point and clutch will have almost no pressure, pump it and its back 90%. This happened with the stock master cylinder and the Brembo RCS I have on now. I read a couple other things about just getting a bubble out of the master cylinder bleeder, maybe try that next I guess.

I have not had any issues with mine but have replaced the oem slave with a CNC slave/RCS 17 and have bleed my system on n off a few times. Maybe re bleed your system again maybe it still had some air bubbles.

Clutch is a headache in some Ducatis (mine included - '13 1199 abs)

Just bleed it every other ride (or before each ride) and you will be fine. It sucks but it gets the job done. One or tow pumps is all you need to get the bubbles out.

Get the automatic transmission option. No clutch issues and no low speed stalling. Wireless eyelid paddle shifters (Tiptronic like goodness) Just remember to disengage if you have to blink.

Friend of mine set up his 1098 years ago with the tiptronic non wireless option after loosing his shifting foot in a bike wreck.

WOW thats pretty impressive. I do not imagine that we are far off from things going that way on the bikes. The purist days of manual transmissions (strictly mechanical) in cars have been relegated to nostalgic builds and restorations. We now have "clutchless up-down" on I think most of the sport bikes. Next evolution for sure is the auto. With the miniaturization of parts and high tech materials, they can do it. Our latest SUV has a flippin 9 speed transmission, paddle shifters and 5 levels of power control/shift modulation and the damn gearbox tiny. MB has paddle shifters on their damn minivans now. WTF???

yes bleed the clutch and see.

How do you like your R vs R1?

I honestly love them both, my favorite two bikes. The R1 is definitely more reliable, almost 20k miles in the first year with no problems. And the crossplane with graves exhaust sounds amazing. But the Panigale is just a master machine, so light, so nimble, but so much power! It's a hard decision every morning which one to take haha.

So just pump the lever a couple times then loosen the master cylinder bleeder? then tighten and pump back up?

Replace the clutch slave with oberon many threads stating the ducati one is ....

I've had similar issues on my '14R. Westlake has bled it a few times which is a temporary fix. They've also warranty swapped the slave which has worked for quite a while. I can still feel it fade on long sessions sometimes. I think it may be a heat thing? I've talked to guys that went with the Oberon and had the same results, better results, and worse results...Makes me wonder what the right answer is. Good luck!
