Panigale R gas cap

Where did anyone get a quick release gas cap for the R model? I ordered one and found that the R model has 5 holes that secure the base to the tank, while the base and S have 4.

Haven't looked on my Pani but are you sure 5 bolts secure it to the tank or are 2 fake?
I know on my GSXR track bike it has 5 bolts but only 3 actually bolt to the tank.....

They are all the same. 4 holes secure the base to the tank then five holes secure the top to the base .

All panigales have the same aluminum tank.
Reread the DP cap installation instructions, it's an odd install!

You first line up the outer (flush with tank) piece over the inside most bracket, then pull it up with the mount screws and then you tighten the inner bracket.
Then you tighten the outer bolts.
Sounds extremely weird, but it is....

You just reminded me how many times I read the instructions - LOL

It was kinda crazy!!
