I'm uncertain if it fits or not.

I'm looking at a 959 parts diagram and it shows a different part number for the shield. That being 4601B341A but the picture looks very similar. I'm not sure if it is the carbon though and maybe that's why it's different?

It is the same one It’s a different part number because Ducati rather sell you the part for big $$$ all exhaust 899/959/1199/1299 are interchangeable only difference is the diameter of the pipes width ness they all work even the full akra systems, also up map keys are bull .... you don’t need it to run the pipes just flash & tune your bike.... okay with that said you should be fine.
