Special edition bikes which are linked to some sort of foundation are essentially stupid. The basic idea was to get money from rich people and give them some sort of status symbol in return. But giving an only repainted bike back, hmm...

If you're rich, just spend the money without anything in return, that's cool.

How is different stupid? Surely it's all about choice and the opportunity to be different. All my previous Ducatis have been non-red. 916, 996, 998s yellow - 1198s white, 1199s- Tricolore. Only got the red 1299s because that was the only option. All business is about separating us from our cash. Yeah, I would have had an SL if I would have had the cash at the time. That didn't work out. I can't afford to move to Brazil, so I'll have to pass on the Senna too. Life's a bitch!
