Whats crazy to me is Chicago is such a big market and its hard to find a Ducati dealer...

US National launch date is 27th/28th. Every major dealer will be launching on one of these two dates and none are "allowed" to show/launch/deliver prior to this. Pretty similar to "Launch Parties" of the past. If you want a really good one, attend the one at Advanced Motorsports (AMS) in Dallas as they are doing their's in conjunction with their 10 year anniversary, so it will be a great one to attend. AMS is also the top seller in the region and sold the most Desmo's of any dealer, so they should have a good shindig to attend.
I am first in line for the S model (dropped deposit last June when others dealers on here said it was not allowed). Unfortunately, I work overseas and just got back here this week, so I will not see my bike until August or so :-(
