Hi all,
I`m considering mounting frame sliders on my Panigale.
So far i found two options:
https://www.rg-racing.com/browsebike/Ducati/Panigale_V4/2020/CP0488BL/
R&G is a solid brand, what im worried about is that they are one point fix to the a part of the frame that dose not look very solid.

The other option is:
https://evotech-performance.com/col...ucati-panigale-v4-frame-crash-protection-2021
Evotech looks very good and are a two point mount. The problem is, iv contacted them and they confirmed the sliders don't fit a 2020 bike, which is my case. Frankly i dont understand why, the fairings have gills on my 2020 model and i believe they will fit but i dont what to buy and try. So i would appreciate if anyone can share some experience on those brands and options.

Thank You!

Both are equally .....

What you want from sliders is not to stick out of the body so when you low side they don't catch grass or curb making your precious moto to flip and cause more damage than necessary

Having both Evotech and R&G crash/slider support for both my bikes…I like R&G for their performance and thoughtfulness. For what’s it’s worth I do trust them more. I like Evotech for their more modern/sleek designs. If the Evotech’s don’t fit, I don’t think you can go wrong with R&G

$100 useless piece that destroys $30k bike

Every crash/slide is different. I prefer them. Some people don’t. They can save the bike or can cause more damage. Flip a coin.

They are all designed to protect different components of the bike. Axle Sliders, Frame Sliders, Tank Sliders, Stator Covers, Clutch Covers, Tail Sliders, Bar Ends…Am I missing one? I run them all…except for the Stator since R&G was Out of stock for my 899 lol.

I am about to order a set of sliders for a 2019 Panigale from Sato Racing.

They should fit the 2020 V4/V4s ENGINE SLIDERS - Ducati Panigale V4/ S 2018-21 — Sato Racing

I had another set of sliders that protected my fairings and tank from any damage on a hypermotard from a couple different style spills. Saved me from damage after a stall on a steep hill which left me riding backwards (with tires locked), offroad spill in gravel, and a traditional accident in traffic. I was living in Europe where the driving is pretty spicy. But yeah I agree with the comments, its possible that if you bin it at high speeds maybe a slider catches and does more damage but for any low speed stuff they really really save your bacon. Well they did for me three times. And the pucks are the only thing you have to change if you don't want to show the damage as street cred.
