Been looking at fitting some carbon frame covers to my Panigale V4, however being a 2024 bike it has the plastic frame caps, where Ducati decided to cut two holes in the frame (originally on the V4R) to reduce torsional stiffness. Most of the covers on the market seem to cover these panels (whether bonded on or using double side 3M tape). The problems arise when you want to access the front cylinder head, which necessitates you removing the small cross member strut located under the headstock, the retaining nuts for which can only be accessed through the aforementioned plastic frame caps, which means you would have to rip the carbon frame covers off to get at them. Does anyone know if there is a brand that does not cover this part of the frame? I believe Fullsix and CNC Racing's carbon frame covers both cover the entire frame, including the caps. I am only really interested in a cover that hides the portion of the frame rails that are visible with the bodywork in place. It is either that or I am leaning towards the CNC ones and cutting them back so they stop short of the access plastic panels.

These are the corse frame cover's for wsbk you could cut the normal frame cover's to sit flush with these, but they're quite expensive because it a corse product

Why not just put the necessary hole in the carbon fiber covers...measure 18 times and drill once and your problem would seem to be solved.
