The first run was 10.233 to 10.516 and the second was 10.050 to 11.236. The second was when they put the journalist on the V4. The results are a lot closer than $17,000k would suggest and really show the ability of the one rider.

I don't know if drag racing is the best use for either...

Let me get what you are saying.

10.516 +11.236 ÷ 2 = 10.876 for the SFV4S. 10.233 + 10.050 ÷ 2 = 10.141 for the Panigale V4 R.

10.876 - 10.141 = 0.735 time difference.

0.735 = $17,000:)

But what confuses me is for $17,000. I can buy a VMAX and get 10.513 with only 170 RWHP and be about 220 LB heavier ;)

Bridewell did
10.516 on the SF V4 S
10.050 on the P V4 R

Half a second for about 20hp & $17K

A drag race vs the P V4 S would have been a better comparo.

My take away was that rider skill matters more than the difference between a Pani V4R and a SF V4S...with a slight caveat that we're talking about drag racing. You could go full retard at go H2R but don't ever go full retard. ;)

I wonder if either used launch control.
