What have you all done to make this work? Ive seen custom printed back stops and tank extenders, like the one pictured. A member posted it on the fb forum but wouldn't provide any info on how he did it.
I know for my short ... this has to be a must. Its incredibly difficult holding on with just my arms and knees. The vulture bike insert doesn't really extend any further than the factory one. The KWR one is labeled Race Seats but they dont offer it on their website. I am considering just 3d printing it and attaching it to my factory stop, add some padding to the front and have the whole thing upholstered like pictured.

RaceSeats It - very good products. Unless you are running sbk subframe/tail/seat panel you will not be able to run similar setup to Ronaldis

You can make your own with seat foam. It may not look perfect but it will function just fine. Only really works if you're using a SBK tail setup though, unless you fab up the mounting setup too. This one is on a ZX10R but I made the seat for my V4 as well, just don't have a butt stop on it.

Does anyone have the print file for the 3d printed back stop shown by the OP? I have a 3d printer and can print them, but would love to get a hold of the print file.

I asked the original person who posted it he was a total ..... I offered to pay for it.

This looks awesome. What set up is this?
Race Seats IT as I stated, email them with this pic then tell them you want to buy it if that is what you are interested in. You have to have a race seat faring setup however

I appreciate your help. How do i go about sourcing a race seat fairing?

A friend of mine is designing and 3D printing the seat back stop shown in this thread for me. Stay tuned.
Here's a prototype printed for test fitment. It's looking promising. And final version will not be purple [emoji1787] (hint: carbon)

Design is progressing. Here's an extended version that I will be testing on track on Saturday. I have a skinny butt and short legs so I will choose extended, but my buddy is designing it in a way the length can be customized based on butt size. We will also be testing for lateral load tolerance.

We have finalized our 3D print specification. I ran 6 sessions on track with the setup below and it worked out GREAT. At the risk of sounding like Im exaggerating, it is the single biggest ergo modification I have ever done to a race bike over the years.

Hyperbole aside, I trimmed an inch off the previous print to get the length just right for me. In addition to keeping me from sliding back in the seat, it kept my weight on the front and gave me better leverage on the tank. What I also liked about this cylindrical design was when you slide off to one side of the bike to hang off, I was free to move forward or backwards in the full length of the seat without any interference from the back stop.

My buddy is printing the final 'production' version this week with stackable 'discs' to increase or decrease length of backstop to suit one's liking. I have the DP tank extender coming so I will likely take out one disc (one disc = 1 inch in the final version) from the back stop. Prototypes were printed with a 50% infill and final version will be 100% infill to give it max structural integrity. These attach (with two screws) to the factory trim panel that pops out when you insert the key in the tail - so it won't readily work with race bodywork that doesn't have that removable trim panel.

Incidentally, every single motogp bike seems to have a butt stop / back stop!

One thing to keep in mind is that the moto gp seats are much more area // space with zero lift. I am 6 foot and have to move my butt to the far back of the seat area in full tuck. The oem style seat are generally very different
