I found this on Reddit. Does anyone know who makes this tank extender? I have not been able to find one with this profile that extends slightly over the stock seat.

From Afix's website: "Extended: this is around 5cm or 2 inches longer than stock, which adds support and prevents the rider from sliding forward. Please note: this will not fit with the Ducati Performance seat which is just a bit longer than the stock seat, and therefore will interfere with the cover."

Bummer.

heh, thats my bike :)

Yes its from Affix moto. Comes in an unfinished gel coat. Painter had to do a fair bit of tidying up arount the seat insert area before painting. It definitley does not fit with the race seat (I tried). The seat is too tall.

Fits pretty well, about 1 or 2 mm off centre around the fuel cap but not major. I had to pay £40 odd quid import charges from the EU

I do like that it comes in a faux brushed aluminum finish. I see you have a race seat so you may not know the answer, but any idea if this works with the DP race seat? Some of these extenders do not work with the DP seat as its taller.
 
If you’re looking for a more turn key solution I got mine from VultureBike out of Italy, they come already painted, the fitment is good, and it fits both my race seat and regular seats.

You have a raceseat.it branded race seat, correct? When you say race seat, you do not mean the Ducati Performance race seat. Those have interference with tank extenders...

Kind of interesting psychologically that someone would be THAT animated against other people modifying their bikes in any way.

Like, what is that haha.

I’ve always been a little over curious about what makes people tic.

But, I put him on Ignore awhile back, nothing fun about that guy and what he has to say…and the whole PURPOSE of these bikes is to set aside practically for the sake of pure fun.
 
I think I drew his ire in another thread.

This forum is just riders talking back and forth about their bikes. If someone wants to chase 1/10 of a second on the track, wants something better for weekend rides, or something better look at, all have a place.

Then, there is someone who just wants to .... on it all. I try to be helpful where I can. I don't know. Maybe other people just want to rage.
