So the drowned bike story isnt over yet. Took off some more parts. Pretty close to rolling chassis.
Here is the thing. Trying to decide between cleaning, drying it all out and putting most of it together to make it a beautiful living room display or sell it part by part. Dont feel like selling one wheel and a lil nut and bolt there. So i want to know if you guys need anything. If there is enough interest in parts i will probly part it out.
So let me know which part you want and how much are you looking to spend. DO NOT ask me for prices. For example: i will take wheels for $x and gastank for $Y. TIA

Do the brake pads look serviceable? I just want to make sure they are still operational before making an offer.

$10 for the rear brake light switch.

sell off the parts, a non-running door stop is a waste of space, at least this way you'll get some dollars and you'll help other people out, but that's just me, some people might like a 400 pound doorstop in their living room! ;) A ducati that isn't running serves no purpose whatsoever.

I'm guessing it's so totally trashed that it couldn't be converted to track use?

i say sell it off

i understand the whole drama of the story and im sorry
but its just dead

you rather get the money what you can from it 5k wateva
then restart with insurance.

alot of the part will be good specially most of it is aluminum
if you clean off the S wheels real good you can get 1.5k btw very easy

I'm sorry for your loss, but glad that it is something that can be replaced.
I'll give you $1200 for the wheels ...

All the best to you. Wishing you good Ducati karma in the future!

If it comes down to it, I need a fairing screw - the black ones. Specifically, the one on the LHS of the bike, just above the "D" in "Ducati".

Bottom Triple clamp $350
Bar ends (x2) $50
Faring screw and and body clip for center of top fairing (in front of horn) $10
Dead dash (?) $40
Lamba probes and controllers (x2) $200

:)
P

300 upper fairing
75 for both levers (brake and clutch)
250 steering damper
55 bar ends
10 several fairing screws
20 right air flap (that moving plastic piece over the lower triple clamp)

Jeez man... if you milk this a little you'll make it almost up to 10k !
You better start shipping stuff....or maybe give another tought to my PM;)

Oh Sorry, 800-1000.00 for the tank, I assume water did not leak into it since its sealed on both ends ?

just curious what's the insurance company going to do for you? they would pay for something, may not total it out but some value of the "weeping bike"

Nothing at all. Didnt have coverage. Flood insurance only covers essential necessary vehicles.
