Passenger pegs???

Hi all, I just received my 1199 via delivery and the driver told me that the 1199 does not come with passenger pegs and a passenger seat, and that they must be ordered separately. I feel as though I've read a thread on here before that stated that the 1199 came with pegs that weren't installed. The dealer isn't open until Tuesday so I'm just trying to get my question answered before then. Did your 1199 come with passenger pegs and seat, or did u have to order them?

I do not know about the US, but my bike most definitely came with passenger pegs and seat, albeit in a seprate box.

Delivery from whom? I had my bike delivered from the TX dealer I ordered from (long story), but the seat and pegs he shipped in a separate box, as the shipper I used was just a motorcycle carrier, so he wouldn't have delivered them anyway.

Yes, it comes with both. Talk to the dealer as they have them there somewhere. They didn't come installed though.

Bull$%"t, all in the crate, just in a separate bag like the fairing extensions.
 
For the 2012 model, my bike came with both the passenger seat and passenger pegs (which I had them installed) at no additional charge. Also got fairing extensions (which I didn't use so I sold them).

+1 came in a separate box for both base model and Tri. My guess is the delivery driver's got no clue what he's talking about.
 
Go kick some ass and get the .... they owe you. Did you get everything else like spare key, manual and tiny tool kit? If its an S you should also get the front fairing aero extensions.
 
I only received one key and the bike. The tool kit is in the back but I didn't get a manual or extensions. But I bought the standard. So it's seems like I'm missing a key, a manual , pegs, and passenger seat.

Looks like they are getting a call on Tuesday.

And make sure the key has the little aluminum ID tag which is needed if you ever need a replacement and check that it works cause it's electronically matched to the bike for anti-theft purposes.

My dealer even threw in a backpack to put all the stuff in which included all above plus the coffee table book.

From memory, you should have three keys, possibly 3 books, passenger seat, and rear pegs.

I'd start shouting.

that is poor form by the dealer.

I was ask before i pick the bike up whether i like the pillion pegs install or not. They gave me a backpack with the pillion pegs, bolts, pillion seat, 2 manuals, 2 keys, ID tag things and the 1199 coffee book
 
you get pegs and a seat just like everyone said. if you get the s or tri you will also get winglets for the nose
 
also if you put the pegs on that means you may ride someone which means you should have the dealer set your suspension to P mode not F
