I put the passenger rearsets on my bike. I use them to prop my feet for long rides. I'm flexible so getting comfortable on the highway usually isn't a problem.
I started by taking the screws out to the heatshield. Of course it was only afterwards I saw that there are two holes in the heatshield conveniently placed to allow access with a torque wrench. No big deal, I'll just bolt on the rearsets real quick and screw down the heatshield. Well, the bike had other plans. A washer slipped out of my fingers and down into the bike never to be seen again! 30 minutes and a hundred swear words later I found the washer.
I got it all put back together. Let me know what you think about the looks.
