Does anyone who has taken delivery of their new 1199 have passenger footpegs and do they come with the bike or do they have to be purchased seperately?

They come with the bike bro, as well as the pillion seat. You can have them installed at the time of delivery...

I've only every seen one bike with them fitted, you could be the second ;)

Mine are in a cardboard box and that's where they're staying

haha too bad, I like going hard and blowing off some steam... then cool down with a fine lil chica with her arms around me ;-)

I intend to keep them off the bike, so it's a rare event that we go together on it. If it's a bit of hassel to put on, there will be less incentive! My wife just bought jacket and helmet so she could start coming on the bike with me occasionally, and a month later I told her i was selling it for the 1199 which I thought had no pillion option. She was devo, but this will make her happy. Riding with a pillion sucks on a sports bike, but if it's an occasional thing i'll suffer it.

Joking aside the rear footpegs are really easy to fit. Just four bolts under the tail of the bike. The rear passenger seat, more of a small pad really, just goes on instead of the solo tail cover and is operated with the ignition key. Shouldn't take more than 5 mins to fit or remove.

My better half likes to ride on the back every know and then, ive even gone as far as ordering a comfort seat for her!

Cool - I had no idea it could feature a passenger seat - always just assumed it was monoposto and that was it.

Keep all this on the down low - I've been telling my wife its a monoposto so I wouldn't have to haul her around
