I have the Full Termi system with the UPMAP..

Just wondering the best way to tune the bike to get rid of that flat spot below 5000rpm...
I tried to search for threads on here but didn't get enough answers on the PCV (it wasn't out at the time of the thread replies..)

PCV or Rapidbike

Thanks for any suggestions you may have..

I have just had PCV fitted and a dynotune done but have not tried it out yet. Track bike only. Next track day is in two weeks but probably won't be able to give much feedback on below 5000rpm. Will let you know if there has been any noticeable improvement.

Did the tuners give you a dyno graph showing difference of before and after the PCV and tune?
I'm sure we'd all like to see that.

Send your ECU to rexxer... Gunny sings their praises and they are local to me here in Hampton Roads region in VA, I got mine done when I got my tri from redline (the owner is the owner of rexxer) and I don't have any flat spot, it's awesome

MARK, would that ECU flash affect ABS , DES or anything mechanical?
Would my warranty be in void?

No effect on any settings other than fueling, it's just a better map... Look up rexxer (gunny has done a good review of them here on this forum, I can personally say that it's super smooth at all rpms and have been really happy with it) and I'm pretty sure that there are no warranty issues with it

Ok great
Thanks Mark

PS: Do i send the ECU to the UK, is that the location , or is there a closer one in North America?

@Mark
I thought "Rexxer" was similar to "TuneBoy" in that you buy the software and hardware to do the re-flashing yourself and no need to send your ECU anywhere

Yes you can buy a Rexxer unit just like the Tuneboy, I'm just not sure how many different maps you get with Rexxer. Out here can can ship you ECU out and pay half the price of buying the actual unit.

I read the Rapidbike page and its says that its a piggy back system with auto tune. In so many words.

I asked my shop if they could look into this.

the thing i like about TB is the cruise control. after finally figuring out, that my rear brake switch was ON all the time, i made it work and it's a blast. just shouldn't set it to >70 in a 55 zone (like yesterday. cost me $218)

Phil / Mostro, you guys happy with the TB set up ? Would you recommend it ? Are you still using the "40%" map or have you done your own ?

I'm really happy with my TB.

My Streetfighter runs so well that I didn't even need to run the 14T front sprocket.

Sorry not sure what the 40% map is.
