With all the anticipation, I thought you were picking up a 1299SL. Still, 2 R's is a nice choice to have in one's stable. Congrats.

At the Ridge Motorsports Park waiting to break her in in the morning.

Well, I had 2 Rs before this guy! Yes, Ducati Redmond is a nice shop and Cameron is great to talk with. I'm debating whether to add that 1199 SL.

awesome dude and congrats.. about to sell my 2016 r1 and may snag an R to race with and keep the 14' 1199 as a coaching/b-bike

Sorry to go little off topic. :D
some thoughts on R1 now that you had it for a while?

It is an insanely awesome and fast bike.. once you delete the ABS the brakes are phenomenal. Turns in very easily.. Change of direction is easy. My only issue is comfort.. With my spinal cord injury its too stretched out for me. Duc is perfect.. Everything is right there more cramp ergos help..

Congratulations boss!! I'm excited for you...

Man...I had the suggestion to get the R model when I got the S model back in 2015, and I said "no". #IdiotMe :: I'm quite happy with the S model...but Man, just thinking what if...

Respect...and enJOY the Double R Life!! Oooooojjj...!!

Well I put some break in miles on the new bike yesterday at the Ridge. I just rode in the intermediate group so I could play with some friends and take it semi easy on the bike. I rode very conservatively as it is my street bike and I don't want anything to happen to this one. Times were 2:13's when the advanced group cut off is 2 minutes. I tend to slow down quite a bit when I am riding my street bikes on the track versus my trackbikes. I guess that's a good thing. Hopefully the track photographer has a few pictures Up in a couple days

What rpm limit were you following? I'm trying to keep it around 7K right now until it hits 1500 miles but Cameron says don't worry about it. Eh...I'm just following the owners manual.
