Anyone had any experience with this stuff? It's basically a spray on rubber/plastic coating that comes in a variety of different colors. I've been playing around with it a little bit and sprayed a few things on my truck, but I'm about to do my first motorcycle with it.
Let me preface this by saying that I would never use this on large parts or things that are bound to get any sort of friction, as it would probably screw it up. With that being said, I've run my truck through the auto car wash a few times and it's held up just fine.
The part I'm planing on doing is a small metal part that came with my fender eliminator. I want the whole thing black and there is a bit of silver showing here and there. I'll post some before and after pics tomorrow.
I really like the way this stuff looks when it's dry. It ends up looking like a vinyl wrap if you do it on a larger smooth surface so the black will match my Panigale S perfectly. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone had used this stuff on their bike yet and if so, do you have any pics? The nice thing about it is that if you totally blow it, or just don't like it, you can peel it right off and try again. Actually it peels so well that if you spray over body lines and it's thick enough, it will actually peel to the line as if you'd taped it there.
There's a few how to videos online for the "PlastiDip" product but rustoleum came out with "FlexiDip" and as far as I can tell, they are exactly the same. So let me know if anyone has any tips, reviews, or anything.
