Im confused. At this I'd still have t pay sales tax. Dealers are selling '13s for $27K....

Sounds to me like it's already licensed, hence it being a good price.

Just makes me cry what I had to pay for a bike here. You all have no idea how good you have it!

I don't know how it works there, but in the states, when you transfer title and license a bike, you have to present your bill of sale, and then pay taxes on that amount, approx 7% ($1890). New or used, dosen't matter. But I know that's peanuts to your area!

Arh, learn something everyday. I can now see the problem with trying to sell anything nearly new.

actually here in GA you don't pay any sales tax on a private transaction, tho our state legislature is trying to change that.

Thank you for all your input. The bike does not need all your commentary though. Let's see what happens when you commenters list something for sale in the classified section.

most of the forums I'm on have a ground rule of not commenting on price, etc in a classified ad.

At the end of the day is that fair to the seller? The buyers or lack of will determine the market for a particular bike.
Just my 2 cents.

If you don't want comments on a posting, you might considering listing it on Cycle Trader rather than a forum, just a thought.

There is no need to hassle someone about their listing price if it doesn't suit you. If you don't like someone's price, feel free to send them a private message if you must comment on it.

WTF happened? Oh well, hope ya sold it man. I actually got many hits on this site when I sold my 1198 Corse, but ended up getting rid of it on Ebay. Poor thing got parted out down to nuts and bolts and mailed to Thailand for some rich dude.
