Lets see what kind of helmets people are using out there.

The Bell Star made a HUGE comeback and is one of the most ventilated helmets I have ever used! No one can beat their visor change system, nor the Transition visor itself which changes very dark in the sunlight. Great job Bell!

As always Arai has their top of the line Corsair model which fits snug and has many attributes for the hardcore enthusiast or racer! Bought this one when I purchased my 1198 Corse which still goes nice with my Tri Colore!

You wear a helmet!!!

Seriously I wear a Shoei RF-1100 and it fits like a dream. I will be getting the Bell Star Black Beauty if shell shape is compatible. People say it is but I won't risk an on-line purchase without trying. As I'm moving back to Cali soon I'll wait til I get there and find a dealer. None down in the deep South around me.

Shoei track and street :D
Spoony for croozin

Assuming you had to choose between the Bell Star and your Arai which would you choose over the other?

hmmm

Assuming you had to choose between the Bell Star and your Arai which would you choose over the other?

I didn't think id be posed that question. Very tough call. If I HAD to choose it would be the Arai I think. The fit is alot tighter and feels more secure on my head for serious track/race use. However, I find myself using the Bell most often due to the transition visor and airflow.

Both Cycle Sector and Sportbike Track Gear have very liberal return policies so if sizing was wrong they'd do a swap no problem.

i have had the arai rx7 corsair and a shoei rf1000 this new suomy is the best of the 3 that i have had so far. it fits perfect graphics are second to none so comfortable its lined with alcantera. only problem is the visor is hard to change.
