Power lose at elevation

Was riding today at 6500 ft and when trying to accelerate past 120 mph on a slight uphill with 10 mph headwind, the bike seemed to hit a wall. I downshifted from 6th to 5th and it wasn' t struggling quite so badly but not what I expected. Does anyone have any idea what type of power lose I should expect at this elevation. I dont remember my GSXR1000 having this big a power lose.

I've only ridden 4800' feet+. Would love to feel this bike sea level. As you can see around 3-5% per 1000'.

I was riding in race mode at the time. From the chart I could expect to loose about 30% of the power versus sea level. I'm going to ride that road later today and experiment power delivery at various elevations. Once above 5000 was when I started to notice the drop off and at 6500 I was at the throttle stop. Its a wide open road with no cops and nice sweepers, so can be ridden flat out. I will report back.

WOT at 6500 with nothing isn't right. I rode to Pike's peak and it was ok. That's 15,000+.

Took my buddies cbr1000rr on same rode to help dial in his new ohlins suspension and bike felt similar to my 1199, and maybe slightly less power. Then took mine back up mountain and rode a gear lower above 6000 ft and was a little better. I am riding all out so I guess no bike is really ever fast enough.Below 3000 it is still a very fast bike, especially with the new map downloaded. Thanks for the input guys.
