Can someone confirm, before I go out and pull the seat. If I pull the 10a fuse for the lights, will that kill the main beam. THis would be for track days.

It actually makes a difference if your bike has ABS. If you do, it exactly the on as shown in the owners manual. If you don't, and you try to pull that fuse, you will actually pull the fuse for the dash display. So you have to pull the one to the left of it like I found out at the track thru trial and error. Btw the fuses are just above the battery, pull the cover off and it's the small fuse box on the right, not the left. No need to pull the fairing off, just pull the battery cover off and you'll see the two small fuse boxes.

Cheers.

pulling fuse is fine if thats all you have to do. If you have to tape the glass/plastic surfaces still - then you'll still have to do it - just not as well as if you hadn't pulled the fuse.

yeah that's my thought as I had to tape the hell out of the high beam on my sf this past weekend at barber!

the panigale rear is a pain in the ... to tape. . . its a triangle on each side and of course it reflects throughout the triangle so you have to go all the way to the edges (and kind of tuck the tape over the edge of the light and under the skin) to not have it show.
