Kind of surprised not to see California 36 on there, Red Bluff to Fortuna, you can burn off a new set of tyres on that run and never see a cop.

Flo- when your in VA again ask gunny if he remembers where the natural cork screw was. we were riding and found it by accident. i doubt he remembers how we got there but it was a climb then a few turns then next thing you know a drop and turn just like laguna. it was unreal we were both laughing at how we ran into that and not expecting it. The road was just paved too .

I've got 3 down. I can't believe Stelvio Pass isn't on here either. Good trip planning tool!

Of all the alpine roads I have ridden on..I found Stelvio one of the more boring ones... Funny how people like different things...:) Passo di Giau or GlossGlockner were much more fun...Even on an RT1200:p

+1 on the Stelvio the view is spectacular, the ride not so much. The Sellajoch- round, or many other passes in the alpes should be in there... (good they aren't, they're already full enough...

the one in romania or in dubai though... they are NICE!

Caught complete air for about 30' off one of those hills on my 848 just outside of redbluff ;)

But 36 is great but it doesn't beat mosquito ridge or the American river canyon, and one has to be very very careful with all the gravel in the road. That and there are corners that tighten up to the point blowing a yellow line is easy.

When you do 36 the lost coast is a must.

Will do Mark. Sounds like a sweet road and nothing like fresh pavement...

Road is great they have to fix it a lot cause probably terrain here is moving all the time but problem is if you make a mistake and you hit a barrier thats it you are gone cause if you fly over there is nothing there just a cliff all the way to the bottom

That would make me think twice about doing stupid stuff riding there.

well but its the only road with some curves except track in Dubai and maybe 2-3 times a year track in Abu Dhabi. All other roads in UAE a boring straight and dangerous due to car drivers. So you choose :)
