Thinking about putting a bonamici rearset on your v2? Dont

I have long legs and still, I struggle to lock in my inner thighs on the tank pads. My legs are about 1-2 inches below the sweet spot. I really notice it on the track when on a long straight followed by a tight corner, which necessitates heavy braking.

I have a similar issue, long legs short torso. The down side Bonamici only has 4 settings, i set mine on bottom hole furthest back, this gave me the perfect sweet spot. It is still better than the stock ones for me and i noticed it on the track immediately

Yeah similar experience except I’m on the tallest setting

Thats weird, mine is as follow:

OO
OX
OO
OX

The X has to be in same line paralel so strange how yours doesnt align. Can you show a pic? Do you have the DV02 model?

Actually I forgot I had to change it to

OX
OO

OX

Because switching the GP shift with bolts full forward was blocking the bolt. I can’t up shift unless the pegs are in the rear position lol

Also you can see where the bolt is rubbing on the swing arm

Actually, I just swapped out some hardware and was able to get it to work. Seems like that linkage bolt is too long

Yea my bolt caused issues too, i swopped it with a different type bolt then it worked fine although i am not using gp shift. Did you have to change anything on quickshifter for it to work or was it a straight swop to GP shift?

Just a swap on the swivel joint from top position to bottom. I read stuff online that people needed to open up the QS and reverse polarity or some .... but that wasn’t necessary

Yea the swivel is easy, I also read the other electronic changes required but now that it ain't need I will make the change, I was not keen to open it up. Obviously the rod had to be slightly adjusted as it needs to be a bit longer?

I had to adjust mine yeah. I’m not sure what you’re going to need to do cause I took off everything connected to that rod, including the two front bolts that connect to the shift spline

I have the Rizomo’s. They’re good for about 1.4” of additional height. Well made, and of course they bolt on perfectly.
