So I'm looking into a 2012 1199 s that has 4,425miles on it and it's going for $16,295... That seem fair?... And did the 2012 model have anything wrong with it?...sry, it's my first bike so just checking on everything before I pull the trigger haha

I suppose that is a fair price but I would shop around some since I just today bought a 2014 Panigale 1199 S leftover for 17,500 + 720 shipping / prep fees total 18,220.00 I am buying it out of State so I will pay sales tax when I register it...

If I had to pay sales tax and tag fee my total out the door price would have been right at 19,333.20

I was amazed that the dealer was discounting the S model almost 7,000 off the original MSRP it made my choice to pick it up very easy.

A brand new leftover 2014 s can be had for $18,999.

Why would you pay $16,xxx for a three year old bike, questionable previous ownership, lack of (or little) warranty left.

I wouldn't pay a dollar over $14,000 four 2012 S model

Too much in my opinion. You can buy a 2014 1199S leftover with no miles and a warranty for 18,500-19,500 out the door. 16,000 plus tax tag and title puts you around 17,500. I'd go for a new bike with zero miles for the extra $1000. A very nice local guy here has a White 1199S with 1,500 miles for 15,500. Just giving you some stuff you compare too. Also you can have a new 2015 1299 Base for around 18,500...I'd get a 2015 base 1299 for $18,500 over a 2012 1199S for the extra $2,000 too.

Thank you everyone for your input, that all helped out tons and I'll just be getting a 2014 1199 s when I can finally get around to it, or a base 1299, I'm going to get a loan threw a credit union and go in and get one that way, I was planning on trying to get $16,000 and go price haggle to get one, I'm sure by the time I get the loan and go serious bike looking I'm sure some stealer ship will take it, my wife's finishing up school in September, then gonna be looking for a job, after she does then I get to get my Ducati... So hopefully prices go down abit, if any of you live out in SoCal I was at berts mega mall and sat on a matte black 1199s and my wife had to basically pry me off of it to leave lol
