My retailer is sourcing a set of these. But before I commit have been reading that people have had issues with them on the V4:

1. Several reported they are too stiff and the glue too weak so they won't stay stuck down on the tank's curves, they lift and bubble.
2. Someone said when the bike heats up the glue melts and runs, the pads slide and the subsequent mess stains the paint. (But somebody else said the glue sets with heat? So how does that add up?)

Thoughts? Experiences? Has anyone had success and used these for a while?

I had them, but after a season they came off, I like the stompgrip better

Eazi Grip way better. I had R&G before. DO NOT GET CLEAR, THEY LOOK LIKE CRAP!

I went with Eazi Grip Pro in clear and they are leaps and bounds way better than the R&G clears. Stick way better.
