I'm using the Armour Bodies one. It needs some trimming to work. It's a pain in the ... having to drop the silencers to install and remove.

You need to remove the silencers every time you want to do an oil change too?
Surprised they didn't come up with a better solution.

Yeah it sucks. Since I'm not racing anymore I leave the bellypan off. It's a major hassle. That's why those undertail exhausts are tempting.

Bike looks great! Exciting to watch your build! I've got a few track upgrades I'll be posting soon (probably in the WDYD for you Panigale Today thread). Anyway, keep it up :)

Thanks, progress is slow but I just received my Apex switches. I will post up the pics after I get them on.

Apex switches installed. Haven't decided on the ignition delete kit yet.

Well I decided to go ahead with the ignition delete.
I contacted Apex Racing Development and they sent me the new harness needed and swapped out the 3 button switch on the right bar for a 4 button switch.

Everything hooked up as per their instructions and works perfectly.

Does this work the same as the BSD unit, in that you have to leave the key in a reader, but then that unit is stashed somewhere else on the bike, essentially leaving it free to start by anyone/anywhere?

Yes.
Anytime you do an ignition switch delete on any bike, they can be started by anyone.
You don't want to do this for streetbikes. It's a track only mod.
If you are worried about it for transport or storage you can always remove the key from the sensor. It's not attached permanently.

Had hoped it may have possibly been some sort of aftermarket proximity keyless option similar to mts, retaining a little security without having to dismantle.
This and the bsd would be too risky an option to have on such a valuable bike in a euro trackday/race paddock. (Wish that wasn't the case).

Wow thefts at track that bad over there?
There's always someone around in our pits.

Always a possibility when you are there for 2-3 days and the bikes are regularly unattended in tents or garages.
There never seems to be any control of people on site, with random public having access to all areas at all hours.

We are always pitted amongst friends. But we also bring thick cables to lock up the bikes if needed. I sleep right beside my bike. I'd be more worried about staying at a hotel somewhere.

The key is easily removable from the sensor if needed depending where you route the harness. It's just zip tied to it.

How much cable do you get? Enough to take it back to the seat hump so you can do easy key removal without removing fairing panels etc?
My bike is totally stripped for the winter maintenance, so now would be a great time to do something like this, if it remains relatively user friendly.

My cables run up front in my nose fairing with the rest of the bikes harness. I don’t run inner panels with the track bodywork. But Apex Racing Development made mine to order. If you get ahold of them I’m sure they would make it longer to do what you want. It’s been a pleasure dealing with them.

Last mods for this winter was just putting the bike back together and taking a few pics and enjoying looking at her. Ready for track season. Can't wait.

Very nice build. You have great taste and it shows it in the parts you are selecting.

Curious to how it rides with the Fullsix pieces on it, you're gonna have even more of a blast at the track!
