Here's the follow-up to my first ever amateur races, with CVMA. I qualified out of my mind for P4 and P5 grids before my weaker race pace let the groups swallow me up. I finished P15 (last, after running off track in P8 on the last last lap; saved it okay) and P13. What an awesome experience though. I can't wait for next season. I'm #972.

Great track. My favorite in California after Laguna Seca. Nothing but grass all around most of the track. I ran off once into the grass and just rode back onto the track and had a nice day.

Coming out of Bucine (turn 14) on the gas in 3rd, lining up the front straight at Mugello today.
I put a number on it. The march through 6th gear pinned over that blind kink after the start-finish, woah-beans, that's worth a million euros.
This is most certainly the fastest I've ever gone on a motorcycle.
Popping up catching the wind feels like a wave of water.

Finally got the fairings painted on my 2013 1199 ... I need to get my feet tucked in better to allow a bit more angle ... as it is now, I stopped leaning when the toes drag.

Also did some cobweb shaking not long ago. Was mostly a shakedown day and never really went fast. Had to battle with the old fuel clogging injectors and making setup tweaks all day long. Also my first time at Chuckwalla, so it took a good bit to learn the track. Probably bit off more than I could chew that day.
Met Keanu Reeves though and shot the .... with him about the cool as .... Vyrus he brought.
