Not racing, but my first trackday @Misano (ccw) back in 1998 on an air cooled M900

There must be pics of my baby face posing in the pits and doing a burnout there as well

Mugello September mornings... paradise on wheels.
Super packed wkend full of foreigners. I rode with guys from France, Israel and Turkey besides the Italians. A good wkend for passing practice! Ha ha ha. I'm finally getting back in shape and turning more respectable times as in, passing others instead of just getting passed ;P The afternoon comparative I started 29th finished 16th. Dropped my times :05seconds from the last session and that was down :05 seconds from the time before. Progress.

@duc Where did inserting videos go?
It's dumping rain so I'm finally stuck inside looking at videos.

Some fun shots from Mugello, onboard video stills. VIDEO IS HERE

Catching #2 passing on the Straight over the hump. Smart looking bikes those Aprilia RSV4s. Not as fast as the Ducati.

Passing practice is definitely a must. I tend to give too much room before getting it done.
I've started finding good spots. The straight is a cake walk.
(1) Getting through traffic at the end into San Donato is usually a great spot but max nerve-wracking with very high speeds.
(6) Lining up and showing a wheel into Casanova is a good one, or passing
(7, 8) getting inside Arrabiatta 1 is cake in a huge space, (9) is death uphill blind off camber narrows
(11) Correntiao line up going in, then pass coming out of the chicane,
(13) Same even better faster chicane Biondetti line up and pass on the gas sooner
(14) Around the outside double apex Bucine when others are keeping it round and tight

I have to get good at going a little wider late on the brakes to get closer into the chicanes coming out on the gas sooner and getting inside for the next turn.

Oct 10 Thunderhill East. Had a blast and improved on a lot of needed skills. Better footwork, kept body/head lower, increased the straight speeds dramatically, and entered a few more corners in a higher gear. Weather was perfect. Kicked our butts.

Diving into a few corners at 100+ now ;)
