After much research, and banging my head against the wall, I finally purchased my new 2015 Ford Transit. I was lucky enough to find a Red one in Manteno ford in Illinois. Did everything either via email or over the phone and the deal was done. Tried to get it shipped to Orlando, but I couldn't get the van here in a reasonable time, so the fiance said, lets fly up there and drive it home. So, the fiance purchased the tickets and off we went to Chicago. The dealership picked us up from O'hare and drove us back to their dealership. It took us 19 hours to drive back to Florida, with a brief stop in ATL to visit some friends. I took it over to Cycle Pro and got the Pit Bull TRS system installed for the upcoming race. I have ordered a 2015 Ford transit OEM 3rd row seat that I will have installed behind the driver. I should be able to install two more TRS system so I can carry 3 bikes. I'll also have the wall and roof liners installed sometime this year and also have a powered roof vent installed to help keep it cool.

Nice..!

Thats how most of us Roll in Europe...Sprinters, Transits, Iveeco, etc.!

I saw Kope's setup and that got me thinking. It was a cheaper option as well.

2015 Ford F150 - $60k
trailer - $5-7k
storage for trailer - 120/month
tolls for 3 axles - $$$

Total 70k

2015 Ford F150 - 31k
New R - 40k

I like option 2, LOL.

Well done nothing like a van . I have a LWB Volkswagen Transporter Turbo Diesel .
I could not be without my van now .

Nice set-up! And you're a lucky man with such a supportive fiancé!

Nice setup LJ!

I just bought a nice new 6x12 enclosed trailer and installed 2 pit bull TRS's for the Pani and Ape. I already have a nice new truck so it made sense for me to go with a trailer but I like the Transit setup.

Beautiful Van! any one else looking call me at 239-325-3673 Tamiami Ford in Naples Fl.

Thanks everyone. I am lucky. My fiancé loves bikes. We are actually looking for a track bike for her in the $2300 neighborhood. So, If someone knows of a goo deal.... Can't wait to hit the west coast next year. Miller and Road America are on my list as well.

You gonna race at Miller or just a track day? I'm looking to head ther myself for a track day since I'm only 12hrs away.

If I go there, I want to race. If they offer a track day before as practice, I'll do that as well.

Finally finished. All I need now it another Pit Bull TRS, an 899 race bike and put my new tool cabinet in the back. DONE.

great setup

I have a 2015 high roof, ecoboost, long wheel base - with leather interior and interior walls. It is great.

I love the rubber maid idea. It looks great.
