Hey guys,

Do you have any experience other then SIDI and Alpinestars on any boots?

I had a couple of Dainese and SIDI, last 10 years. Now it's time to replace them, the sole is almost gone.

Thanks

Bye

Fabio

I had alpinestars smx plus boots before but I recently went with these forma ice Karel Abraham Replica boots to match my helmet colors and plus they are of awesome quality. Definitely up there with sidi vortice and alpinestars supertechs. I like different so I went with those. They make them in a variety of colors too as seen below.

What size are you Scorpio 66? I have a pair of Dainese TRQ Race out boots in white which I wore about three times and no more. Pretty much in brand new condition. PM me if interested. The reason I am selling them is because they are too big for me. I have to double up on the sox.

i love the forma ice flow boot. half the price of all the others PM if you want to know more

Just curious why you're not interested in SIDIs again? I've had 2 pair over the years and its the only boot I'll buy - sport or dirt. The soles on my most recent pair (Vertigo Corsas) are really worn from riding my Hypermotard with my foot out in addition to some fast lowsides on the track years ago. Some spots are ground flat like the Ti knuckles on my gloves. Will probably go for the model replacing the Vertigo Corsas when time to replace.

Not a specific reason, just probably because I'm not willing to pay $500 for a pair of boots. I'm considering AXO too since I have leather and gloves.

Race boots as in you're racing in them or tracking in them? Daytona boots. Expensive but the absolute best IMO. Don't skimp on protection.

Just tracking for now. I'm going to Italy in a month. I probably stop by the dainese and alpinestars outlet to pick something.

I tried the AXO Aragon roadracing boot. It fit my very wide feet well, much better than Sidi Vortices, which I had to sell because they run so narrow for me. Nice boot, just not ventilated enough for me (I'm in FL). Also the protection is just not quite up with the Alpinestars Supertech R boots, which is the best I've personally tried (neck and neck with Sidi Vortice IMHO).

I'm sure the Daytona EVO boots are the best, but that really is insane money. I also like TCX boots. Run a bit wider than Alpinestars Supertech R and the protection is as good as anything else.

Good luck and let us know what you choose.
