Radiator and oil cooler guards worth it?

It does get a bit warm out west, or east for you Wilkson, Marble Bar has the record for the longest heatwave, 160 days of over 100° with some getting to 115°, not looking to start a competition, just an interesting fact.

Hmmm interesting

Not a concern in the PNW I imagine. At the racetrack in Texas in the summer, it's a big concern.
It’s not Texas hot but was 99 at my house yesterday so it can get plenty hot. My point was there are some guard designs that could be more restrictive than others.

Putting these on today. It doesnt show in the instructions but to get that black piece over the radiator to pull out enough, I cant see any other way to do it other than pulling the fairings off both sides of the bike, not just the one like they show. Its a TON of work to get those evotech's squeezed in there. Looks great when its done though.

Yep, had the same issue when I fitted mine. Ended up removing the lower fairing from the right hand side of the bike, which allowed me to loosen the bolt holding the radiator in place at that side just enough to squeeze the guard behind the black plastic piece that you refer to. I’d say it took me 4 hours from start to finish.

Definately worth the effort especially if fitting slicks. I got the evotech pieces they are good. Ity does take effort to install, but worth it for sure.
