Rear brake pads short life??

I just changed my rear pads after 7500 miles. They were down to about 5% left. I'm a little shocked as far as other bikes I've owned will last to sets of front pads before I change the rears.

Is the DTC grinding down those pads when in different mode?

DTC doesn't act on the rear brake. Are you dragging the lever?

Don't think so. I always evenly apply both brakes. My daughters rides some times and I feel like I have to hit the rear more when she's on. I'll keep a eye on the dragging. I just figure its all the mapping to help control the bike from wheeling.

DTC or DWC doesn't act on the rear brake. The bike limits throttle input to prevent or control wheelies.
