Why the new slave? Have you had any clutch issues with your 2020?

No problems whatsoever, I use 1 finger to pull the clutch and there are about 20 traffic lights/stop signs on my 10 mile commute. Larger slave cylinder "supposedly" reduces the effort required to pull the lever, so less potential fatigue on my slight carpal tunnel.
If it doesn't work, no big loss, I got a very big discount on a brand new one that was sitting on the shelf for awhile

It does make it a bit lighter, also a more premium feel but the stock one feels fine to me
Biggest thing I noticed on my 1299 after upgrading to the DucaBike slave is the friction zone is a bit larger

...the friction zone is a bit larger
That might be useful. Stalling at the lights is a bit of a concern. I find the clutch bites fairly abruptly and at the same time the throttle is hard to keep steady if trying to take off discreetly under low revs. I was thinking spacers might help with throttle control. Hadn't considered the slave. I've been gunning it to compensate which makes me look like a dick at every set of lights.

These bikes are probably designed to only use the clutch when entering/leaving the pits lol

Try making your lever to the shortest throw, it moves the friction zone almost right on the start of the lever travel. That way when you allow it to open a small amount to activate the cylinders, right after that it starts moving, then you can modulate the throttle. That should help with the stalling.

If you were not on the other side of the world I'd offer a set of spacers to you. @VirgilCameron makes good ones... it's where I got mine.

Thanks for pointing me out!
