Hey all my rear tail light seems to pop out when riding.
I push it back in and it's tight. It's just friction pins into rubber. Any ideas how to make it stay?

Is the bike still under warranty. I know giving a bike in for warranty service especially for something like that is effen annoying. That being said. Maybe the just order a new set of friction pins and rubber grommets if thats what the friction pins go into. And in the meantime try sliding something in between the plastic and the rear tail light to sort of thicken any weak spots. Maybe take some thick tape and fold it so the sticky part isnt showing and slide that in between the plastic and rear tail light. Just do it so you cant see the tape. And wait till the other parts come in. Or I could be talking out of my ass and have no idea what Im saying. I dont have a V4. I have a 1299. But hopefully my advice works

Easiest way to pull the light out?
I assume remove the seat and rear fairing?
I thinking tape around the pins to make it thicker will probably do. Just curious of anyone else has seen this

Maybe this video can help you out. It shows how a dude is replacing his tail light. I scrolled through quickly but I think it showed how he removed it at the 3:30 mark

Screw #6 holds it in place...5:00 in that Cali video above...
