Has anyone replaced their rear tyre yet in the UK?

I've not even heard if they are being produced yet, to buy... Which is a bit concerning seeing as though we are all getting through the miles, which leads me onto the second point, how many miles do we expect from these 200 width tyres...?

Even so, miles or no miles, there are those dreaded nails about, which would give you cause to have to replace them straight away....

Any answers to these questions out there?

There shouldn't be a problem with availability, the Aprilia RSV4 Factory uses the same size and type of tyre

Awesome... Many thanks, what kinda website is that never heard of it, kinda figures why I've asked the original question!

Well impressed with the price, is that for real or have you just made that web page up???

Tiz just the power of google mate.

I'm over 1,700 miles on my first set and I have another 1,000 at least; however, now that I can use the torque and power band (after 1,500+ miles), maybe not.

Ha, yes just what I was thinking, that tyre will soon be getting ripped up...!

Well I have 2259 miles on mine now, just came back from a stag do in Monaco on it, came back via some awesome roads and my tyre is still going strong...

My bro had the Supercorsa on his 1198 and he did a good 4500-5000 so I'm kinda hoping the same!!

You wont get anywhere near that mileage if you ride aggressively. On my 1198 with the Supercorsa SP's after only 1900 miles the rear was 99% bald, and the front was about 75% bald. That was all street miles too, no track, just canyons and fast street riding. Never had any problems with grip though, they are awesome tires, just wear real fast..

And how is the bike after that amount of miles?

Absolutely superb, it has loosened up loads and feels sooo much better than when I first picked it up...

The only issue I had was a sore bum after 600 miles in 1 day, apart from that brilliant!!!

Miles to a tank, well I did 132miles then ran out and had to push her for half a mile :( my own fault though...
