Can anyone recommend me a rearset for my 1199s with the
peg position be able to move forward? as I feel the stock pegs are too rearward for my tastes. Thanks!!

Not sure if you find to many that have a forward position as that's not what most want, in most cases the adjustments are up and backwards.

The pegs above would do the trick, but don't move the brake lever or the shift lever forward. Prob not a bad thing for the brake lever, but shifting would be cramped.

Aren't there some replacement pegs that have the pegs offset from the bracket which allow you to rotate the pegs around the bracket in a circle to move them forward, up, down, etc.

Good one chrissa. I used to use the Cycle Pirates version on a Buell 1125R, and they have 2 peg positions on the 360-degree adjustable arm and appear to offer a bit more adjustment than the Chinese versions you linked to. Here is a link to the Cycle Pirates version: CyclePirates.com - 360 Adjustable Mounts

They don't say specifically Ducati but you may wish to call them as I recall they weren't the best at updating their pages.

The DP rearsets are forward and higher (2 position adjustable).

Try Gilles. I have a set on my HP4 and they have great forwards/back adjustability which is simple to do, the levers move with the adjustment and they are great quality.

I have the DP rearsets on my 1199 and whilst they are also great quality they don't have anywhere near the adjustment, they're harder to adjust, and they cost twice as much.(which is a risk if you find they don't have the position you are looking for)

I'd take a long hard look at these

I was riding out to GOR on the weekend and as I was stretching my legs out I thought maybe forward controls would be good right now .....lol

Thanks guys for these great info! most likely will be going with the SATO, but the
price is a killer...

The DP ones are excellent and a bit higher and forward. Though not a lot of adjustments, they seem to work great. ..

They are a bit of a pain the install, but once you know how everything goes - imo, they are the cleanest looking and fit well both in performance and aesthetics. . . They are DP parts so obviously a bit higher than the rest. Basically if you have the DP sets, they kind of almost look like they are part of the bike. The aftermarket ones kind of "stick out" aesthetically too much for me.

The DP ones also have the benefit of being able to be reversed for GP shift if you ever choose to go that way (some other ones do as well, whereas others don't).

To the OP, make sure you find out from the rearset manufacturer the possible peg positions relative to the OEM rearsets. Having owned many bikes and almost all with aftermarket rearsets of one brand or another, in my experience many of them are designed to replicate the OEM position in their most forward and lowest position. The other positions are either higher-up, further-back, or both as that is most commonly needed for racing, where this part category originated.

If you want a further forward and lower position than the OEM, you need to verify that was in the design brief of the product you are considering. Good luck and report back here so other like-minded individuals will be able to benefit from your research.
