Anyone try removing the factory warning sticker that's located right below the fuel cap? If so, please share the result and which method you used.

Cheers

Goo gone afterwards
Then wipe with microfiber with diluted IPA
then super slick it with hidrosilex

or go the extra step and correct that paint before super slicking

hope you have a strong thumbnail

Thanks Kev! I've read some other forums and there has been some reporting on using WD-40. Would you avoid this reagent for such a sticker?

Wd40 shouldn’t hurt anything. I just like taking the sticker off and letting the residue soak in goo gone for an hour then hit it with a paper towel.

do you have a buffer / polisher?

No but I can get the goo and try it, seems like a simple solution. Thank you good sir!

Well ya had all week. What did ya use? As long as it’s not on plastic I use GOOF OFF to remove sticker glue without hesitation. If on plastic I test on a hidden area. Usually it’s fine : )

Goo gone is faf
