Hey guys/girls
New to the 1199 and forum and sorry if this has been posted before.
I have factory CF unit that I want to replace the old plastic unit.
It looks like a easy swap but the O2 sensor connector needs to be undone.
What needs to be taken off the bike to get to the electrical plug for the sensor ?

Are you speaking of the heat shield that covers the rear exhaust pipe under the seat ?

It helps if you remove the gas tank, and loosen the two front bolts to the rear subframe and take out the two lower bolts and lift the subframe for clearance.

Sensor is in the rear subframe under the seat "ish"

Cheers for that.
Found that the sensor wire goes all the way to the ecu area.
I just removed the sensor with the wire connected then prewound the wire on reinstalment
