And that would work?
I am always amazed by the U.S.A. judicial system. In France, the guy who would crash while tapping on his iPhone would not be able to sue Ducati, and the police would take points from his driving license, if not suspend it.
And that's why I was more interested by an handlebar command, if not a voice recognition command into the helmet.

Ah..."SAVE AS" possibility......Technically possible,would'nt doubt.
for a hand-full of guys who really know what they are doing , should be ok.BUT..
Ducati has to sell to the ..... proof worldwide market....too much warranty/court case hassle to mess with.Branding at stake...worst still if might be in-directly causing accidents/life

Why the risk? is the benefit huge?to who?

Mutiple modes will probably come out next as it is the next obvious step from where electronics are now... if I recall Baylsis said in an earlier interview that theres lots more to come .. this is really the first iteration of a new generation bike and we're just nosing into the electronics.. think what 5 years will bring on what we have now.

I ran on an interesting article which basically said they should ditch the TFT dashboard and put an iPhone cradle. I would love having my iPhone as my Panigale dashboard, and using it for programming the rider modes. ^o^

No lets stick a iPad or Macbook Pro in there.

Ducati spends all this money and time on R and D with highly qualified engineers doing this professionally and you guys wanna stick an iphone or galaxy in there

You are kidding surely and maybe I just did not get the joke. Silly me.
