To honor Dane Westby ( The Wolverine #00), this page has been started up to organize a group ride to the funeral service. Since the date is this friday March 27th, a head count of who can attend the meet up and a short ride over to the service will be required.

Very kind and thoughtful of you Phil. I honestly hope some members here attend.

If only I still lived in the Tulsa area I would without a doubt involve myself in this event! Traveling from Washington, DC there would be extremely difficult right now since I am having two surgeries this week, and being able to borrow a bike from someone there may prove tough on this short notice. Very reluctantly I will not be able to attend either. What are the odds the Funeral Home would carry my name too?

I am still in a state of shock and must've looked thru my texts from him over a dozen times since hearing of this brutal news. Additionally, I am not having much luck with any of the LEO friends obtaining inside info regarding the fatal accident right now as I am sure there are some extenuating circumstances involving the entire thing. :(
 
If what his mechanic said is true I hope they catch the bustard I have had people cross center they just do not care. He was a good guy and a good racer he will be missed
 
Just curious if anyone here happened to attend the ride and services for Dane?

While going back thru some old threads I stumbled upon this one which was from the day I met Dane Westby - while at NJMP with Mark NYC (The original Mark from NYC)

Post #7 has the comment and unfortunately never got a pic with us to remember him by. Still in total state of shock and wish I had made it there.
