Over a month ago I purchased some parts from a forum member in the classified. I paid for parts and was told that the parts would ship no later than the following Monday. I waited a couple of weeks and the parts never showed up. I messaged the seller via PM, who was apologetic, stating the parts were on the bike and it was in the service department. The seller then promised he would try and get the parts in a couple of days. A week goes by and I hear nothing. I send another message asking when the parts would be sent. I get a response that they would ship no later than Tuesday or he will refund my money. Tuesday comes and goes and again I hear nothing. Sunday I sent another message of inquiry as to the status which has so far gone unanswered.

At this point I am done waiting. One of two things needs to happen, the parts arrive ( or I get tracking showing they were sent last Tuesday as promised) or my money gets refunded. If I don't have resolution by Wednesday I'm calling you out by name.

Wow. That sucks man. This forum has a great reputation with some well respected sellers. This kind of thing is far more rare here than I've seen on other forums I've been a part of. Maybe because the majority of members here are a bit more seasoned and mature. Who knows. Hopefully you did NOT gift the payment via PayPal. People try to save a couple of extra dollars by gifting but then you ditch your chance of getting your money back right out the window. I don't care if it's a $5 sale or $500. I'd never accept a gift payment or make one. Even as a seller, it's best to assure the buyer because in the end, you're taking a blind chance on a total stranger. Far from worth it, regardless of his/her forum reputation.

Hope this gets resolved man. Good luck.

Good point NOTED!

He doesn't need to need to name names. I will. ME. I havent had a chance to respond to your last message yet and since the BS with my bike is not allowing me access to it I will respond here in the open. I have not been allowed to remove anything else from the bike so I will refund you the exact amount you paid me by PayPal.

There is also another member here who messaged me who's part are shipping today and it took about the same time.

I apologize for not being able to get them off the bike as I'm at a stalemate on my bike at the dealer. This is the first time I've not been able to complete a deal I've done on here. I do thank you for the patience with it. I will also message you back directly as soon as I send the refund today.

Mike.

That was a lot less eventful than I was anticipating.

At least it got done. Generally.

NOLA

Sorry Nola lol.. Just making it right.. It was my fault from the get go.. Buyer had every right and reason to do this. I would have done the same.. My apologies again..

pretty sure i've bought stuff from B before and it was shipped quick! Sorry the situation was a bit different for you.

Tyler yep a few things actually. And all of my deals are shipped same day of not next. But this was the case for Domino or the other buyer. Live and learn everyday bud.

Thx Gecko. Next time nothing's for sale until it's off the bike.

I just want to confirm the refund was sent. I appreciate the integrity shown to not only do the right thing but to publicly accept responsibility. I appreciate that things happen and how you handle it is what defines the person. I never wanted to air personal business as it isn't my style but I have a lot of respect for people who will step up and accept responsibility.
